Privacy policy
Applies to the Garmin Connect IQ data fields PowerPeak Live, Speed Peak and BPMPeak. Last updated: September 19, 2026.
The short version
The three data fields run entirely on your Garmin Edge. There is no account, no login, no companion app and no server of ours that receives your rides. Your power, speed and heart-rate data, your personal records and your settings are stored on your own device (and in your Garmin Connect app settings, which Garmin syncs to the device). We never see them.
The only network call any of the three apps makes is the license check of PowerPeak Live, described below. Speed Peak and BPMPeak make no network calls at all.
What the apps read on the device
- Activity data while you ride: power (PowerPeak Live), speed and distance (Speed Peak), heart rate (BPMPeak), the activity timer and the activity profile. Used only to compute the peak table and the records shown on screen.
- Your Garmin user profile: FTP and weight (PowerPeak Live), heart-rate zones, maximum heart rate and birth year (BPMPeak), so the apps can show W/kg and heart-rate zones without you typing anything. You can switch to manual values in the settings.
- Device unit setting (metric or statute) for Speed Peak.
None of this leaves the device.
What the apps store
Your personal records, the running session buffer that lets the field survive a page change, and your settings. All of it lives in the app storage of your Edge. Uninstalling the app deletes it. The Reset personal bests setting deletes the records.
PowerPeak Live: the license check
PowerPeak Live is sold as an annual subscription through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. When you paste your license key in the settings, the data field contacts api.lemonsqueezy.com through the Garmin Connect app on your phone:

No ride data, no records, no location and no profile data are ever included. The trial period is measured on the device and needs no network. Without network the app keeps working for 30 days from the last successful check.
Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and holds your email, billing details and license key under its own privacy policy. We receive from it your email, the order and the key, which we use only to support you and to manage your subscription. You can cancel, update your card or download invoices from the customer portal linked on this site.
This website
powerpeak.app is a static site. It sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics script. The checkout overlay is served by Lemon Squeezy and is subject to its policy. If you submit the "notify me" form for an unsupported Edge, we store only the model and the email you provide, use them once to tell you if support ships, and delete them afterwards. No newsletter, no sharing.
Garmin
Installing the apps from the Connect IQ Store and syncing settings from Garmin Connect are handled by Garmin under Garmin's privacy policy. PowerPeak Live, Speed Peak and BPMPeak are independent products, not affiliated with Garmin.
Your rights and contact
Because we hold almost nothing about you, most requests are answered by uninstalling the app or by the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. For anything else, including deletion of your email from our records, write to [email protected]. We answer within a few days.
